Board Information

TOUR ANNUAL MEETING FOR 2016
WAS HELD ON SEPT. 20, 2017
at
DuVal High School,
9880 Good Luck Rd,
Lanham, MD 20706.

You might ask yourself what does the Board of Directors really do? The Board is comprised of homeowners, like you, who volunteer to govern the Association and its operations. The Board meets monthly and reviews with management the operations of the community. They discuss projects, formulate a budget for the Association, set policies and procedures needed within the community and vote on any contracted work such as grounds, road repair, etc. The Board then directs management on what tasks to handle and management, in turn, enforces the policies, contracts the work and oversees the day-to-day operations of the community.

Maryland law, as well as the Association's legal documents, dictate how the election should be advertised and held. IT IS IMPORTANT TO TAKE AN ACTIVE ROLE IN YOUR ASSOCIATION'S ELECTION. THE BYLAWS REQUIRE 10% OFTHE OWNERS TO BE REPRESENTED IN PERSON OR BY PROXY FOR THE MEETING TO BE HELD. Once the quorum isestablished, the election can be held. Electing directors is a very important responsibility for every homeowner. If you do not have the time to attend, please at least send in your proxy and make your vote count.

The Board of Directors look forward to being with you at your meeting.
